The Scientific Council (SC) is the scientific management body of LIP. It includes all PhD holders, representatives of the technical and administrative staff and representatives of the students from each LIP node.

Composition of the SC board, coordination committee and representatives

SC board: José Maneira (president), Raul Sarmento (Minho) and Alexandre Lindote (Coimbra)

SC Technical staff representatives: Miguel Ferreira (Lisboa), João Saraiva (Coimbra) and Henrique Carvalho (Minho)

SC Administrative staff representatives: Leonor Coimbra (Lisboa) and Margarida Rodrigues (Coimbra)

SC Student representatives: João Gonçalves (Lisboa), Afonso Marques (Coimbra), Céu Neiva (Minho)
